La actividad tiene por nombre: Maratón Ensayística Filosófica, fue pensada como estrategia de evaluación avanzada para los estudiantes del grado Décimo, de manera que respondiera a los retos anteriormente mencionados y que permitiera, mediante el juego, el reconocimiento de los aprendizajes alcanzados sin el sometimiento a la tensión que, en ocasiones, les generan las evaluaciones estandarizadas.
El ejercicio consistió inicialmente en la repartición de los grupos cooperativos de “los cuatro sabios”. Una vez elegidos los equipos se le entregó a cada uno la ruta del color que les indicaba una serie de retos filosóficos que debían ir incluyendo en la escritura de su ensayo. Cada equipo recibió una ruta diferente con la finalidad de que en las estaciones no se encontraran con los demás equipos, y su ejercicio reflexivo pudiera llevarse a cabo sin inconvenientes.
La ruta contenía cuatro colores que representaban las cuatro fases de un ensayo filosófico: tesis, introducción, argumentos y conclusiones. Los retos incluían aspectos sobre la vida, la muerte, la educación, la música, el amor, la amistad y la virtud a partir de frases célebres y fragmentos filosóficos abordados previamente en el aula.
Observar el proceso de maratón en el seguimiento de los retos, en las aportaciones de cada miembro del equipo para resolver el ejercicio y finalmente, leer los ensayos consolidados es sumamente satisfactorio porque se refleja en ellos, las competencias alcanzadas y se evidencia el pensamiento crítico al momento de cohesionar las temáticas mientras los y las estudiantes disfrutan del ejercicio.
